The backstrap on that fawn i hit with my FJ was really tasty.

Once picked up an otter in my Jeep on the way back from Shreveport. Planned to skin it then get the skull. After about 10 miles the stench inside was a bit powerful, so I tossed it on the roof. Turns out, I'm not very good at skinning. Did get the skull though. Apt management seemed perturbed at the odor of road kill otter that wafted over the complex until dumpster was emptied.

Couple years ago my sis in law hit a nice buck on the way home. stopped the car and called her dad and 911. state popo stopped and shot it in head. another truck stopped and was about to load it up when paw in law showed up and claimed the beast. said he only had liability on the car she was driving so he was at least going to get something out of it.

i guess we should be skinning all road kill and start making slippers and socks and shite. Seems a bit overboard to wrap road kill around the neck of a 4 year old. Seems like an attempt to show off as daddy.
