Trailer size for side by side

Looking at a couple electric buggies. Max weight is 1700lbs. A standard single axle trailer has 3500lb capacity. Assume buggy is just standard size Polaris ranger.
Is a single axle 6x10 sufficient? I get listed weight works but didn't know if the benefit of dual is worth it.
Drive to camp is 2 hours each way.

I have a 6x10 for mine and it's plenty although mine is the mid-size Polaris. There are times when I wish mine was longer and the dual axle is a little more comforting in case there is a blowout.
ETA: look for a dove tail trailer. The gate is shorter and a little less wind resistant.

I have a 2 hour drive to the camp as well, and for my Rhino I bought a 5x12. It fits perfect, but no room for standing on either side (which was what I wanted). I went with the 12' length because that gave me room for a big ice chest in front of or behind the bike. I also ordered the bi-fold gate.

Honestly I would just go with a standard 16ft tandem axle, so many other uses.

I'd go a little bigger than you'd expect. Typically you have more weight on the trailer and it's a bit of a top heavy load. I feel more secure with a dual axle. I carry mine on a 6x18 dual axle. It's probably too long but it carries it well.

6x12, Can still handle by hand a bit and a little extra room is nice

Get a 3500lb axle. I have a homemade trailer from Arkansas. Don't waste money on those cheapos from Lowes.

My Ranger crew barely fits on my 12 ft. I would get at least a 16 ft.

I have a 6.5x12. Mine fits great with room for ice chest in front or back. My bike is only a 450 but unless you by a crew, 12 ft should be enough.
