this is one solution that will become more common in the next few years, buy a kit and get it made. no reg required(what i was told at the shop as in no reg) ak

Big missing piece to that kit is the lower receiver. That is the part that requires an FFL. That's why there is a run on lowers right now. That is the part that you need pre ban.

Agreed.
With how ridiculous all the stipulations are, I doubt it will go through. But, stranger things have happened and I will be sure to write those emails today. I suggest you guys do the same so there is no shortage of AR threads.

Bringing it up to people, that was their line of thinking as well. But if we all sit around and do nothing, then who is to say it doesn't go through, since we don't bother even voicing our opinions on the matter. It takes two minutes with that link, they even suggest keeping it short and simple, thanks for taking your time to complete it and I hope more us of get around to it soon.
