Buddy of mine is looking into getting a CZ 75B, anyone here have any experience with this gun?

Its similar to a 1911, shoots 9mm rounds

Thoughts?

I've never shot it, but I've read great things and it's a fine looking gun. Definitely my next purchase.

Ergonomics are fantastic. They are extremely accurate, light recoiling pistol.

My uncle has one, and it is extremely comfortable and well balanced. Weight is perfect. My next pistol will be either a CZ75 or a Sig P226

I want to have 3 more pistols, and I'll be set for life. Shield, P226/CZ75, and a full-sized 1911

I like it, but my next one will be a Gen4 Glock 21.

How much did you pay? It's like $640 at Academy.

I honestly don't remember. I think upper 600s, but the dealer threw in a few boxes of ammo.

ETA: The dealer had to put in some work to get it. Had to get it from one of those online auction sites.

Yeah, it's a bit pricey. I want one, though. I feel like I should own at least one Glock.

I have a CZ 85B, same as the 75B but with an ambidexterous safety. This gun is built like a tank, 15 round mag, accurate. highly recommend.

Grips ate into my hands after 50 rounds and I had to take a break. I don't have soft hands either I also don't like how tight into the grip the factory mag releases are. My dad has a Gen3 10mm that I like 100x more than my stepdad's Gen4 G17

Not hardly; about the only things they have in common is both are high capacity, all-steel (not alloy) 9mms.

Internals are different, CZ has inset slide like Sig P210, CZs are double-action, ... I could go on. I figure you're just trolling, but the OP was searching for info/feedback on the CZ- ain't nice to spread misinformation about it.

Fantastic source of info on it here
