I'm too poor to get a side by side, but if I wasn't, I'd just get a used Jeep Wrangler.

They are both good bikes so it is just up to what do you want to spend. I have 2 old Polaris and they hold up great with minimal problems. And by Old I mean 2003 and 2007.

And Honda is well...Honda. Great product.

I want the diesel 4 seat Mule because the bed is metal and folds down but I hate spending $16k.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I'd get the biggest one I could afford.

Both are really good bikes. I'd just go ahead and spend the extra $2000 and get the 900 Ranger.

I've been looking at different models and plan to buy one in the next month or so. Had salesmen show me several off brands too. They seem decent but I'm either going with the Mule or the Polaris 570.

Where is the best place in the state to save the most money?

I think I would check out some of the Japanese mini trucks.
They're not much bigger, and you can drive them on the road. They have heaters too.Maybe even A/C.

I agree with WM_tiger. I bought a midsize 570 and found out it was too small for my liking. Traded it on a Full size CC and much happier. I would at least go with a fullsize 570. It was plenty of low end power and big enough to fit 3 people and the bed is freaking huge on the fullsize. I recently hauled 1000 lbs of quickcrete in mine to fill in a washout on my place.

Both great bikes. My BiL has the Honda 700. It dosnt have a low gear which is kinda disappointing at times.

I like the mini trucks that are actually vans with the small pickup bed. Work awesome for duck hunting (decoys in the back) and have just enough room to strap down one deer at a time.

But I agree with the jeeps, IF your lease / club doesn't have a rule about only using ATVs /UTVs, a older used jeep is hard to beat. Just don't go all huge lift and huge mudtires. Keep it moderate, say a 2-3" lift and some 33" mud tires.

Honda. Both are great bikes and have pros and cons though.

shite man, go to CENLA. A big leasing operation just banned side x sides on all their timber, tons of new / like new bikes up for sale.

Don't get the Honda. Anyone recommending it is going off of the reputation of their ATVs. You will be completely disappointed with the low end power of that Pioneer.

Look at the CanAm's also. I just bought a defender HD8 which is basically similar to the Polaris 900. The towing capacity and design of the inside with optional storage or space for an ice chest under the seats is what I got it for. It has a 2000lb towing capacity vs 1500lb for models in its class. I'm extremely pleased so far. Polaris and Kawasaki were the others I seriously considered. I felt the Honda's were over priced when I looked at them.

I heard Roy O. Martin was the one.

Is the Honda a 4 seat?

My parents have a 2013 Polaris ranger 500 and it does fine. Unless you have some steep hills it should have enough power.

I have a John Deere 550 and am pleased but it doesn't have the power of a atv style engine as it is powered by a 16 hp Briggs v-twin. Sips the gas though
