Trying to make some plans for next year. Anyone got any suggestions on dove hunts in West Texas?

Frio County Ranches. I’ve used them with a large group probably 7 times. Great time and usually great hunting. If the birds are there they’ll find the field that has them. Beautiful part of Texas. I’ve hunted the Uvalde and Hondo areas for the most part. I’ve hunted the Texas/ Mexico border once. This is fun and relaxing.

These guys are NW of Dallas. We went goose hunting with them and did very well. But while we were there, they were saying that dove hunts are their big draw and it's really good in the area.

That's where we go. Wichita Falls and surrounding areas. We go with Dry Creek Outfitters. We've been going quite a few years and the shoot us straight. Sometimes they say it's okay and you have to hunt hard to scratch out a limit. Sometimes they say it's slow and to wait a few weeks so we do. A few times they have said it's ridiculous, hurry up. In times like that you can kill a limit in under an hour and shoot as many collard doves and pigeons as your heart desires.

Paloma pachanga is popular. We usually did really well around hondo on our friend's properties. I've hunted the last few years around wichita falls and haven't done well at all. Hunted with muddy water outfitters. Kill a lot of ducks and sandhill cranes with them but not a lot of dove. LINK
Heard there's great hunting at JA ranch west of DFW. Might try them next year. LINK

Finish Line Outdoors does dove hunts. We goose hunted with them this year. Their dove hunts look good. We hunted with a couple of the guides buddies, they said the doves are thick out there. They are an hour or so north of Wichita Falls.
Here is my thread on our hunt. Finish Line goose hunt
