Saw a big ball flying over the south end of big lake over the marsh yesterday. Was with my buddy who is a guide and he estimated it was about 50 of them.

Saw about a dozen yesterday. They were on public land between west of Slidell and east of lake Charles north of Venice and south of Shreveport

None except for the couple hundred, possibly thousand, of cinnamon teal I saw while bass fishing on Toledo Bend last weekend.

Saw one nice band cross the MRGO while fishing yesterday. Capt. Ryan Lambert reporting seeing quite a few near Buras lately, per his call with Don D on the radio show yesterday AM

We went to check out the lease yesterday in Delacroix didn't see any birds. Water was very low.

I don't think BW migrate nearly as much as they use to. Sure we will have a big push of birds in September but we see more and more every year that stay here. I don't ever remember killing BW during big ducks when I was little but we've killed them on the last day of the year recently.
