I agree. However, it was indeed the first sign of dumpage.

Not to mention, I am sure that there are lots of OBers with more money than time/sense. I am not one of them but they are out there. I, however, dont hate on them and demand that they turn in their "damn man cards".

it's a cool idea to have quick access to a gun when things 'go bump in the night', but still keep it hidden when it's not needed. But I agree that something like that could be built very cheaply.

I'm a carpentry ruhtard. I'd end up breaking a damn stud just trying to measure to see where I'd put the shelves. And need about 8 2x4's for 2 16 inch shelves cause me and the skill saw don't exactly get along. Now you need somethin wired, I'm your man.

Exactly. That is why these products exist.

Not to mention, electricians make lots more money than framers.

Not the life for me. I prefer my nice comfy chair and doing paperwork. I do enough shite on the weekends.

I looked in to getting into household wiring a while back, but quickly realized I made more doing aircraft wiring. Now I just need a desk job fixing the Engineers stuff and I'll be good to go.

Just discover the replacement for AC or DC and then nothing but hunting and fishing in your future. FTR, I hate electricity. I will not touch a wire unless an electrician is there and tells me to.

I used to work with an electrician who was scared of electricity. I laughed every day at that idiot.

It is dang shame that the males of our current society are not taught simple manual tasks and an appreciation for having created, built, or repaired something. That being said, I agree if you have the funds to buy versus build (as I do) by all means go ahead. I just find a simple satisfaction in doing things myself and teaching my boys how to do so also. I also wanted to bring to yalls attention that the pictured version with the concealment mirror is $375 not $110 as many first thought.

hash, I am still rolling in laughter.

I agree, the best thing my old man ever taught me was how to use a set of tools. Frick havin to call a repair man for simple things.
