I just saw one (first time) in the Ms. Delta. I didn’t know they ranged this far North is Ms. Is that normal or was it just blown up here in a storm?
I’m not sure if it was a juvenile or an adult. It was definitely white and black with a swallow-tail. It was flying with a Mississippi Kite.

Wife and I saw one yesterday while riding the golf cart. I live in central Louisiana near Marksville. Definitely mature.

There are vagrant sightings even farther north, but yeah, that's not typical.

I see them every year in Morehouse parish. When I go to cutting my 40 acres they are hell on the rats and snakes, lots of fun to watch.

Saw one a couple years ago when visiting in-laws in Texarkana.

Was flying/hovering in the median grassy area on highway between Texarkana and Shreveport.

I’m on my phone and that must not be setup for mobile. I’ll have to do it at the office tomorrow.

They really like that stretch up I-49 from Ellic. That, or there's just a lot of eyes for the sightings.
