Super scope

Last night I was watching American Greed. I caught the tail end where this guy was pissed off with lawyers/judges etc and bought a Barrett to kill them with, supposedly. The scope, or whatever it is, on this damn thing was awesome. It looked like binoculars with a scope on top. On the show, it mentioned that once you acquire the target, you mark it and the next time the sight hits the mark, the gun will shoot. Any one have additional info or point me in the right direction

That's it. The one I saw was an older model evidently. The one I saw looked like an older Barrett. They said it cost 25k.
So, the scope is tied into the firing mechanism? Also, how long will it keep memory to shoot? In other words, will it reset after 15 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.?

It stays locked on the target as long as the target stays within view of the scope and doesn’t exceed 15 mph. If the scope loses sight of the target or the target moves too quickly it will reset.
