Sunday C&D: Weekend results edition

Went to Two O'clock Bayou Saturday in the yak and got my arse kicked by the wind. Thanks to the high winds and getting pushed into trees and stumps, I broke a rod and the ram mount for my transducer arm. Caught about a dozen bass, only 5 were over 12". I'm sure 10" bass are delicious, but I just can't keep them. It seems wrong.
And I'm having them for dinner tonight.

Nice scenery fo sho! It was frickin' windy AF though.

Seen nothing but does all "bucks only" weekend. Heading back to the house, put a deer chili in the crock pot before I left and left the wife in charge. God only knows how that's going to turn out
Gonna have that, salad and some white cans. Uncle killed a 4 point so moving the chili to their house.

Went on a mixed bag duck hunt Saturday. 6 limits that included redhead, canvasback, pintail, teal, gadwall, widgeon, scaup, and of course spooncocks. Surprised there were no mallards.
Sunday morning watched 2 young bucks and a few does, then spent the day with my Dad.
