Looking at upgrading to a 3/4 ton and going to go with a Sierra. Looking for some feedback on dealerships. I live in BR but willing to travel up to 300 miles for the right deal. Feedback appreciated.

Laura Buick GMC has low prices and it's no gimmicks. My dad bought his truck there last year and advertised price was exactly what he paid. If anything it is a good price to base your negotiations on.

I would not however trade your vehicle in there. Sell outright if you can for better price

I bought from Everett GMC in Little Rock which is around 350 miles from BR. The buying experience was simply. I picked the truck off their website, we negotiated the price via email. I bought a 1 way flight to LR, they picked me up at the airport at 10:30am. I test drove 2 trucks, bought the one I had negotiated, and I was driving home by noon. The entire process started on a Thursday and I had the truck Monday evening.

I have family that work at the local GMC dealer and they couldn't come close to the price/trim level I received at Everett.

My son bought a 3/4 ton last fall from Everett as well and got a much better deal than he could elsewhere. A business friend of mine has bought a number os trucks there as well at great prices Like you, my son did 90% of the negotiations over the 'net.

Call Joey Hogh, General Manager of Bohn Buick-GMC in Harvey (West Bank of New Orleans) 504-708-4011. I've known him for over thirty years. He's the guy that runs the dealership so you'll be starting at the top. Tell him johnnydrama sent you if you like or just mention TD and he'll know it was me. He's a big LSU fan as well.

ETA: Don't say anything bad about Les Miles, though.
