Stuck in a weird position with my boat advice sought

I am running an 18' Xpress sc, about 10 years old. Boat is for sale now.
In November I took the boat to a local trolling motor place as mine kept failing. The trolling motor shop rewired from battery to bow panel. The first time I took the boat out after getting it back, the motor failed on me. Had to take it back to the repair shop which they were very good at getting it right (replaced wiring from head to panel on bow). This got my trolling motor working for exactly two trips. One trip my damn battery died..replaced battery, next trip out the batter doesn't work. Confirmed with multi-meter I have power to the front.
So here I am without my trolling motor working again. The motor is a 10 year old Riptide so likely it's time for replacement. Stings a little because I just dropped several hundred getting it wired up. I can't find a suitable replacement as they don't make the 46 thrust w/ 45" shaft that I can find. Side bar, they were supposed to fix my gauges and they aren't working either. Speedometer never worked and gas gauge worked for approximately 1 hour.
So all of this backstory brings me to my dilemma.
I want to get rid of the boat, but don't think it will sell without a working trolling motor and my gauges only working even though boat is in great shape.
Here's where I think my options are:
1) Say screw the existing trolling motor and upgrade it. Adds a few new holes to the boat, but gets me back fishing. Wasn't keen on dumping more money into the boat, but I feel like I have to and maybe regroup and try to sell after season. Assuming I could get something back for the TM in a sale.
3) Try to sell my boat as is condition for a bit less than planned to get out of it and use the money I'd spend on new TM and electronics towards a new boat.
I guess what I am asking is, how likely is it that I will sell with a few issues with the boat.
I want to get on the water as spring is coming up quickly, just struggling with where to go.
Any thoughts?

Whatever money you spend on a TM and gauges you will not recoup in the sale.

It will sell, you will have to dripmyour price a little though. Who did the wiring on it?

Every used boat seems to have a few issues. It will eventually sell but possibly not for what you're wanting to sell it for.
Be upfront and let the new owner know about all of these issues. I absolutely hate when I have to discover these types of things on my own.

Boats can be so weird when it comes to having issues specific to that boat alone.
If you are happy with it and haven't had any big motor trouble I would think about just replacing the trolling motor. Then put whatever you would have been paying as a note into a savings account. Use that toward the new boat purchase.

That's where I am leaning. Rather than struggle through the spring with no trolling motor, invest another 500 into fixing, just seems the best option is to upgrade to make the boat more fishable and go from there.
BPro is having a pretty big sale starting tomorrow, so I guess I will go that right.
New 80 lb thrust Riptide with iPIlot and the 2019 Garmin UHD for electronics. See if I like my boat a bit more with those upgrades.

I think that's wise if you arent having trouble with it. Especially if the big motor is solid. Just because it is new doesn't exclude it from having problems.

This is correct; sell as is and move on

I personally would apply the fixes - fish with it one more season THEN sell. That way I would feel as though I somewhat got a return on repairs.

You Upgrading? Why the selling? You giving up on fishing for good? Whats your problem, bro?

If you like the boat and the big motor gives no trouble the rest is solvable. My boats an ‘02 and she isn’t going anywhere, makes me happy like a worn in pair of flip flops

If ya cant fix that shite yourself
You shouldnt own a boat

Upgrading to glass, or trying, need something better for big water.

That’s the plan. Thx for the input

Gauges and TM are both easy to work on, YouTube is your friend. I would fix and fish one more year, try to sell with working equipment.

I have done everything short of replacing the damn gauges lol. They work intermittently and they have been wired twice. I only care from the sale standpoint. Tricky bastards.
Thanks. That’s where I’m leaning. Get new glass and tm fish this year and put it back up next year.

I wish I had the money right now, I'd buy your boat in a heartbeat lol

I replaced all my gauges and it’s really simple. Take your time.

Don’t sink more money into a boat you’re trying to sell.
