My camera sent me a picture 3 minutes after it was taken. I then looked through settings and the signal strength was 25%. Does the signal strength normally fluctuate? I just put it out yesterday.

That's typical from what I've seen. When you contact them, they will say it won't send pics if they don't have 3 bars. They will also say it's reception and you have to move it. Based on my history, you will move the camera and argue with them for months. They are in the process of asking me to send it back for them to repair/replace.

Yes, get ready to be on hold forever with their customer service to get no resolution.

If you have service on your cell phone where the camera is, take a pic with it and send as a good test. If it doesn't send immediately, no way the camera will.

Bring the camera to where you have solid service and try with a brand new SD card (odd, I know). If it still doesn't send, get ready to fight their customer service

Does it have the latest firmware on the sd card? It’s easy to update and that may sole some issues. Go to spypoint website copy the latest firmware to your desktop, insert the sd card in the computer, copy the update to the sd card, put the sd card with new file in the camera, THEN turn the camera on. The update won’t fix poor reception but fixes transmission problems

Is 3 minutes not fast enough?

I’m ignorant on this brand/model but 3 minutes seems reasonable unless your looking for live stream or something.

I put my spypoint up in Texas and it was red (no signal). I was driving back to louisiana about 4 hours later and it started sending pictures. I haven’t had a single problem out of it for 5 months. Probably gotten 5k or so pictures. The solar panel is awesome.

this cameras are hit or miss, when they work its great when not they are a PIA.

I have 2 right now, both was running fine, all of a sudden 2 days ago one stops sending pics.

And their customer service sucks.

But I like them when they are working
