In 1993 I bought a Remington 870 Express for $199 at Walmart, been a great gun.

Bought a BAR Safari II 30-06 from Walmart at 14. Dumb person working the counter told me and my parents they couldn't sell it because it was the only one they had. Manager checked and said Browning only sent us one (common) so they sold it to me on lay-a-way. Still have it and many deer regret that purchase

The first gun I bought was a S&W Model 19 6" blued in 1977. Still wish I had it! Traded it for something I don't remember. I've always loved S&W revolvers and now own 5. I still CC a Mod. 12 occasionally.

First I bought was a Ruger P95 back in 2005. Parents had a couple growing up but my dad wasn’t into hunting. I have my grandfathers A-5s and a “few” others now. What wasn’t lost in the great boating accident of 2013. I bought the Ruger for my wife since her dad had given her a snub nose airweight .38. She didn’t like the recoil. She didn’t like the Ruger either and I traded it for an XD a few years later.

Remington Nylon 66, around 1980 or so. I was in college at the time.
Sure miss that little gun. It got stolen due to my stupidity. However I found another one a couple years back. Dang those things are spendy now!
