I haven't eaten any store bought meat or fish at home in probably 3 weeks. I've eaten out a few times for lunch and dinner, my gf cooked a few times, but other than that it's been straight fish, deer, and hog. Some in sausage form. I've been trying to clear out 2016/2017 meat and game.

At least once a week we will have something made with ground meat. Haven't bought ground meat from a store in 2 years

The next deer I get I'm going to make keep backstrap and loins and then like 85% ground meat, 15% sausage from the rest.

Of course I'm going to do it all myself as well next time.

ETA: We probably eat venison at least once a week. It would be more, but I had way too much sausage made and not near enough ground meat.

Edit 2: wasn't even thinking about the shrimp in the freezer. Every year we go to some random shrimp boat captain and get a couple ice chests full of fresh shrimp. Freeze them in quart bags and it lasts about a year.

I plan on buying myself a sausage stuffer and a smoker this year. i have a grinder and a vacuum sealer as well as a ground meat packaging system. I spent around 400 bucks having sausage made last year. I could put some of that money next year towards equipment to do it myself since I enjoy doing that kind of stuff

Not often at all because I would be the only one in the house eating it. The most common is crappie because it's my son's favorite food.

Several times a week. 90% of our ground meat and breakfast sausage consumption is deer meat. Most link sausage is either deer or duck. We eat duck or dove a couple times a month. Have deer roasts, loins/tenderloins, steaks that get eaten frequently. Eat fish once a month or so. We eat a shitton of wild game.

Minimum 3-4 meals/week have at least some game/fish that we caught/killed. We eat fish tacos at least weekly. Duck/goose seems to get cleaned out of the freezer faster than anything.

My wife loves fish and my 4yr old loves the thought of eating the stuff we caught/killed together.

I could easily eat a few weeks on what I have in the freezer between deer, fish, shrimp, etc.

A good friend of mine hunts deer and he doesn't really like the meat, so he has it processed into sausages, ground meat, cut into small roasts and gives it away to his friends. My whole bottom drawer of my freezer is full of deer meat----probably 25+ lbs. worth.

Man, I really wish I had a steady supply of deer meat. I love that shite more than beef. As for fish, I only cook what I, or what friends of mine, catch.

I keep saying I'm going to start deer hunting more every year, and I never get around to it.

Anyone want to trade deer for ducks, hit me up

i've been enjoying it. It doesn't look like I've made much of a dent. My sister's father-in-law kills a ton of deer and goes on a bunch of canned exotic hunts in texas...he doesn't eat it so he gives it to my sister who also doesn't eat it but doesn't want to hurt his feelings so she gives it to me and i eat it

We prob all eat fish more than we should and we’re all gonna get mercury poisoning or so they say... I eat fish once or twice per week, Deer meat maybe once a week. I always have deer meat in the freezer but we eat a lot of chicken/I prefer beef over deer meat personally.

Daily

Either deer, pig, or fish

Thankfully, my GF loves to eat it as much as I do so that's literally all we use

3 or 4 times a week. Luckily everyone in my household enjoys most of what I bring home from the woods.

We don't buy meat except for chicken and I don't eat chicken. We eat fish or shrimp 2 or 3 days a week. Or beef from a calf we had butchered.

Fish or shrimp at least once a week. We eat boiled crabs or crawfish about twice a month. I eat deer sausage or ground meat about 3-4 times a month.

Any red meat we eat is deer. We cook redfish or spec at least once a week. And eat shrimp we’ve caught probably once every 2 weeks. The dogs eat the wild pigs killed.

I guess you could say we go through a bunch of wild animals.
