I'm praying everything is ok with this story. It happened a couple of hours ago.

What I really want to know? I thought Spanish lake was completely dried up. If it is not, how would you go about getting back there. That used to a be prime crawfish area back there

No offense, but why so dramatic ? The 9 news website said both passengers were able to call for help and no one was critically injured? Do you know the people involved?

Not to marginalize the accident, but I see nothing in the news report that suggests it’s anything to be upset over.

Unless it was your motor they tore up.

With enough rain it fills in. The bayous around it hold water.

Good padna of my son, he went to see him at the hospital last night. Was in a gator tail , hit a log and got thrown out. Fractured rib and punctured his lung and lacerated liver. What I was told from my still half a sleep son. Tough kid he should be alright. Pretty sure my son would have been with them if he wasn’t at work.

I wonder if the control structure at Bayou Manchac and Alligator Bayou has been closed for the duck season.

My 18 year old nephew was the other person in the boat and is ok. He pulled the driver back into the boat and called 911. Never at any time was someone missing. Both were wearing life jackets.
