Yes. When my old man used to work at a facility I will not name, he ran some store-bought "deer cocaine" through a chromatograph. It was something like 99.3% soda ash.

I haven't but it could work. It's the main ingredient in Deer Cane. I've just never used the stuff.

I'm the manager of a water treatment plant, and we have a huge mound of old lime in the back of the plant. It's been there for years. Deer come to it all the time and lick it. I have no idea why but they do!

Yes, I did. Yes, the deer and every other animal got into it. No more then a salt block.

Have used it in the past. We used a mix of soda ash, sweet feed, sugar, and salt. It worked ok.

As stated, it's the main ingredient in deer cocaine. You can get it from a pool supply store for way cheaper then deer cocaine. Chop up the ground, sprinkle it out and pour some water over it. Not an overnight success but it does work, been doing this for years.
