Or the folks making the switches will start making them for other brands of pistols - M&P, XD, etc

The cruciform trigger in the Glock is what makes the switch work. The other guns you mentioned could certainly be converted to full auto with a some method of not allowing the sear to connect.

Side story- I remember when Glocks hit the market.Dumbass news media was having a major meltdown over the “plastic” pistol.Airplane hijackings were the thing then and the media was just sure Glocks wouldn’t be detectable with metal detectors or X-rays.

I believe die hard the movie mentioned this as well.

The panic is real

GB auction for G47 MOS COA @$2025.00

No more G34’s. They won’t be available in the V series. Prices on the rise for them as well.

Was this all a response to the dagger burying the gen3?

i think that has more to do with the COA being discontinued.

Yeah but it’s still double the price of what it cost. Not sure why aimpoint discontinued the COA. It seemed to get better reviews than the ACRO.

ETA: seems aimpoint is filling military and Leo contracts and not selling the cOA to civilians for now. Might come back down the line.

Technically, there is a Glock 7, but it’s not a firearm. He made household items before firearms. Curtain rods, doula handles, etc.

What’s the over/under before someone has a switch out there for the V?

For years I considered Glock to be the most boring utilitarian guns on the market. And I generally avoid all-black guns. But then one day I suddenly decided I needed a 10mm in my life, and the Glock 20 was the best deal. Really love that gun. Its chunky grip fits my long fingers. So when I wanted a 45ACP the Glock 41 fit the bill and I love it too.

I’m a Canik guy for 9mm bc they have the best triggers but I do love those two Glocks.

from what I've seen of the V series it doesn't look like it would be very difficult to grind down the ramps on the underside of the slide to accept the switch. I mean those who are adding the switch are already committing a felony so an extra step isn't much more work for them since they're not worried about the legality

I bet there’s a 3D printable design on the market by the end of the year.

or for that matter, just get a slide from one of the multiple clones out there;

though admittedly I'm not up to speed on how interchangeable the parts are to OEM Glocks

Glock probably did minimal changes to avoid further suits.

I haven’t seen the changes yet, but I would imagine they aren’t huge. Buy stock in Dremel.
