What's yalls opinion?

First time hearing of it. I'm really liking this fanatic hoodie and how it has a built in mask.

Feel like this could be the only thing I wear early and when the temps drop maybe put on a bigger coat.
I just don't know if I like the pattern and haven't heard of the brand before. Plus it's damn near $200

My brother showed me the moose hunt that guy took his dad on. Hunt was badass and so was the gear.

I'm at cabelas and I haven't seen kuiu.
Don't think they have any. Might settle with this for now. But cool hearing it's the same guy

You either love it or hate it.

My delta wading jacket is fantastic. It's thin enough to wear in Louisiana and can be layered for those few days with strong north winds. No more worrying about getting wet on those long boat rides either

ETA. King ranch will be here shortly to tell you how you should buy filson instead

I have gotten a good bit of Sitka gear over the last few years. It's light years ahead of anything else I've work. Heard good things about kuiu , but can't give you any specifics.

I would recommend getting all three core base layers (heavy, medium, light). I also have the fanatic lite jacket, fanatic jacket, and cloudburst jacket.

Have been very impressed with all of em.

went with the bibs and the jacket.

shite is warm. My base layer will just be boxers and a shirt.

Got the shooting gloves to use as all purpose gloves

They have different patterns for duck but I don't go enough to justify the purchase yet.

Hopefully I don't get fat and I can just wear this shite the rest of my life

LOL you won't find KUIU in any store. Online direct sales only. I have a good bit of KUIU, main complaint is the sizing sucks.

Got the Dakota Jacket for $100 off on Cyber Monday. It's a pretty light piece with just a tad bit of thin insulation so it's more of a mid and late season jacket than the wading jacket. I haven't hunted with it yet but heading N right now to see how I like it.

Definitely not made for the south. Kuiu is patterned to be above treeline. Their stuff is great in situations you need it. I personally like first lite and badlands.

The whitetail stuff is in optifade elevated and looks pretty good as long as ur in woods or in a tree stand.

The big game patterns are pretty good all around.

I have the hudson jacket and the traverse zip t. Really like them both, the hudson jacket is only insulated in the core region, which is pretty awesome for louisiana since it never gets cold here. If it's really cold I layer the zip t under it.

I hunted in that torrential downpour a few weeks back in the hudson jacket and was bone dry

If you get in thick stuff stay the hell away from Sitka. I'm sure it's great for Midwest hunting, but it won't hold up in southern thickets. Mine looked like shite after 1 season.
