Happy New Years, baws.

I’m debating a side by side / Utv and have a question about Polaris and Can-Am. Should I avoid here on the used market barring obvious issues? It would be for joyriding

Thanks

I have a 2018 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 and a Can-Am Outlander 1000 XT and I feel like the Can-Am is a better bike.

I know one is a SXS and one is a 4 wheeler but I’ve spent a lot of time on a Can-Am HD10 and it’s a better bike than my Polaris. My Polaris is a single cab and I was looking at getting a Can-AM HD10 two setter to ride more people around but I got a jeep commando for $900 instead.

I'm really really enjoying the Mule Pro Series. Buddy has the fxt and I have the mx. Ride like Cadillacs.

I have a Polaris 500 SXS
And it’s been a good bike. My bud has a Can am 1000 that I’ve spent time in. and despite the obvious I agree w Rise, the can am is feels like the better buy.

Edit to say my next 4 wheeler will be a can am

Have a polaris 1000 xp with the dohc, and I couldn't be happier. Can ams I don't know much about except they're pricier and supposed to be 1 peg higher relative to the competing models.

The ranger model I have has so many compartments for gear and I find that insanely useful.

Canam for the win. Good motor, better design/layout, more room, etc.

I had a 2020 Polaris Ranger Crew 1000 XP Pursit Camo. I sold it after having to replace the break parking sensor twice $400 parts and labor. Once it goes out it leaves you stranded. Too many electrical issues.

Bought a Kawi Mule Pro FXT EPS and much happier.

I have a 2019 Polaris Ranger 900 XP EPS. I love mine. Used during Hunting season only so I don’t put a-lot of west and tear on mine. I have 150 hours on it and it’s been great to me. I had to replace the battery this year. That’s the only issue I’ve had thus far.

I work at a plant and we have used Kawasaki, Polaris, and kubota. We haul 2-6 men and the bed loaded with tools everyday. We pull a trailer loaded with welding machine, gas bottles, and tool box.
The kubota is a good machine but is weak. We had a LOT of problems with the Polaris.
The Kawasaki is strong and have been very reliable. These are all diesel powered.
If you are going to really work it, Kawasaki all the way.

We use several Kubota diesel rtv's at my job too. I think they lose a lot of their horsepower through the hydrostatic transmission. Have been great workhorses, though. But terrible ground clearance, and aren't too capable off-road.

I 've had 3 polaris rangers, 1 honda pioneer 1000-5 and now have a can am hd10 crew cab limited.

The can am is the best one by far. Rides better, more power, and easier to get in and out of.

Honda Pioneer, I just saved you thousands on initial cost and long-term ownership. By far the top reliability SXS on the market.

Don't have either but my buddy bought a ranger used and it's been great. I bought a used Tracker and just picked it up today. To early to tell on it but it's nice.
