Some of you guys have had the pleasure of meeting my father over the years.

He turned 82 in October. He gets up every morning and goes to a yoga class, and then lifts weights. Then usually walks 18 holes of golf.

He still bow hunts. Not with a crossbow. Not on a feeder. He does it old school. Last week he found a Magnolia tree where bucks were scraping. Hung a stand. Waited for the wind to get right. Went in there yesterday morning before daylight. Passed up two bucks before he shot this one. Then watched two more make a scrape in front of him while he gave this one time to lay up.

He's a great hunter, great dad, and a remarkable guy. I'm lucky to have him. I hope I'm still doing it in 30 years!

Congratulations pops.

Awesome that your family is able to get together and hunt together. It is even better that he can still get it done

Looks like my grandpa did.

Your kid has good taste in watches. Your old man has some hard knuckles.

My 84 year old Dad has killed two bucks this season, but not with a bow. So awesome that your dad is still whacking them.

If we could only be half the men of our fathers ???
Just scares me to think if each generation falls to less than half of the previous where we will be in the future

That’s awesome. Cancer took my old man in January at only 67. I feel like an old man at only 40. Hope I’m half as spry as your dad if I make 82!
