Sheds dropping

When do the antlers tend to drop in LA & MS? Taking the family to deer camp for mardi gras, and was wondering on the timing. We don't run cameras again until mid summer, so I'm not real educated on the timing. Thanks.

I've found sheds in turkey season (3/15 in MS) and I've seen bucks with racks walking around during turkey season

Cant speak for those areas, but my buddy found one at the baseball complex in our neighborhood here in the Houston area this past Sunday.

I ran cameras all year last year. And it seemed like they dropped around mid March.
This is south Mississippi.
I will watch the cameras again this year

Already have picked up several good ones. Have seen a bunch with horns still attached, though. It seems like late February-early Marchis is when I run into them pretty good. Fricking high water will probably push them off the property before they start dropping real good.
Edit: Ms delta by the way.

I've seen deer with antlers in early April, and I've killed a deer in late January that had dropped one already. Dropped the other when I was loading on 4 wheeler.

All depends on area you hunt. Testosterone driven. If rut is early, they will drop sheds early
Late rut and they drop later
Areas with late ruts (January) will sometimes see deer with antlers in turkey season
Other areas that gave early rut (October) they have already dropped

I’ve picked up big heavy horns between Xmas and New Years, most Feb-March, older and rut stressed bucks drop first, dinks and small/young antlered trash drop last...

I’ve found fresh sheds in early February and have seen one really nice buck that still had horns in mid April.

This has been a mild and very wet year. They are already falling off in most of Louisiana
