you really can't have it all with these.
you will sacrifice something with any make/model
either passenger space/storage space/or articulation of the machine due to being too long.

I am in the market , and have done much research . I have only driven the Honda and Polaris models . The Polaris has a better ride (independent suspension) ,
more power , and more quite . The Honda is a Honda -
reliable - and was leaning to it . The Honda has the engine under the seat and you can feel the heat in warmer weather . After driving both, I talked to as many owners as I could . The owners of the Polaris
were very positive - no issues , same with Honda .
Probably will be after the 1st of the year when I buy . I am leaning to The Polaris ( Ranger 900 ) , but will keep an open mind . I welcome all advise .

The honda 700 is bulletproof. The honda 1000 is not.
The ranger requires greasing and special fluids. The question to ask yourself is if you need 70hp or will 50 do.

The Honda Pioneer 1000, and it may out live you

And I'm curious? Are you aware honda had to do a tranmssion update for 2017 because it can't handle the whopping 65hp it makes? Or the electrical issues? Or the fact that if it gets rained on, the airbox in the front sometimes fills up with water for no reason.
I have no brand preference. I'll tell you the worst shite about whatever bike you want to name.

Have no issues with Polaris or Honda. Just don't waste top $ on a canned ham

Excellent bikes until they explode.
And it's a rotax, so that motor will grenade. Has a timestamp like all rotax motors.

I picked up a 2012 Rhino 700 last year. No problems at all. There are 3 Rhinos in the club and all seem to do well. Now one member bought a new wolverine and it's a great machine.

Does anyone else fine it odd that when I started hunting in the mid to late 60's we had Jeeps, Scouts, and small Bronco's in the woods. We went from those to a Honda 90, 110, and then the larger 3 wheelers. Right after we had the 4 wheelers come in the late 1980's with 4WD and with a set of Vampires they were beast in the woods. Afterwards came the Kaw Mule and then the others soon followed and now we are up to buggies that are crew cab units and they are as big as the CJ5's we started out with, lots more money, and you have to pay extra for the cab and heater.
I think this is what you would call a full circle

Yep, we had a Willys jeep when I was a kid, then a CJ5. Made a lot of miles on foot, and didn't own a 4 wheeler til I was over 30. Now you need something that'll do 60 and haul 6 people to compete.

I'd think it would be fine for all that.

Waited almost a month for a Honda pioneer to get in. Didn't want a 1000. Never came in so I bought the Polaris. No complaints so far. Of course I don't think I've burned a whole tank of gas yet. I know axles aren't good for aftermarket larger tires but I don't plan on putting any on it so no worries there

Underpowered turd. Ride sucks.
Pretty reliable.
Best thing... It's cheap.

Cousin still has a Willys jeep and uses it. I had an old Scout when I was a kid and would give a right nut to have it back.
I used to hunt across from the Pond Store and a member had a mule. Like a real living mule and he hunted off the back of it. Would just walk up on the deer. I killed a big nanny one evening that fell off a cliff. Took 30 minutes for me to just get down to her. He showed up, threw it across the mules back and walked straight up that cliff like he was walking to the mailbox. There was a time our grandparents weren't even using willys and scouts and I know my grandparents killed a lot more than I ever will.
