If haven't reverse seared a steak, ya need to try it. Takes more time than on the grill, but ya get a steak cooked to your done-ness all the way through.

Burgers and Leinenkugel. It was a good day. Took my 3.5 year old turkey hunting this morning (his first actual hunt). One hen couldn’t hold his attention beyond 7 am but he was a trooper considering it was in the 40s and wet.

Cast iron top-cut sirloins with pasta alfredo except I got spaghetti squash while everybody else got angel hair. Can’t beat cast iron sear and then oven. Perfect every time. Malbec and now charter

We made a batch of rainy day venison chili (3 dumps). For dinner, charcoal grilled fillets, bacon wrapped and shrimp stuffed quail poppers, and twice baked potatoes.

Had some Chick-fil-A sweet tea and lemonade from last weekend. Add alittle Buffalo Trace and things were good.
