Went Saturday for a couple of hours and caught 20 large females..fish choke points from main lake leading into coves. If the weather holds up it's going to be gangbusters for a while.

Good to hear. I fished Caddo Sunday morning for white perch from day light until 11 am.
Only caught 3.
Old timer at the boat ramp said 2 more weeks until it busts loose which makes sense being North of Toledo.

Got two dozen yo yos out on local lake. Its picking up, most have eggs. Running em at dusk, then in the morning. Night bite is picking up, especially if its clear, no clouds.

what does this little front moving thru do to the sac-a-lait bite? I was hoping to hit the basin Saturday morning in the 15mph north winds

Stalls them about 2 or 3 days in my experience. I'm shooting for Sunday morning again this weekend.

A friend of mine lives on the lake. Wants me to drive over this weekend, but I scheduled a walk through on a house I'm buying. Maybe Sunday.

Don't think it will matter much..important thing is water temperature stays up..strong high pressure would have a more profound effect.

Seen a neighbor up at the camp (older fella) running yo-yo's in Toledo Saturday night. He and what looked to be a grandson where making there rounds about every 2 hours. When we left the dock Sunday morning to Bass fish they were wrapping up. He had about 50 sets out and they had caught there limit for Saturday and Sunday by daylight. Some sure enough slabs as well probably had 8 or 9 over 2 lbs.

Can you catch the white perch by dunking shiners in shallow water? I’m a bass fisherman but my wife wants to “perch jerk” at Toledo next weekend. I don’t even know where to start!!!!

Yes you can... I’ve caught them in 18” of water with minnows under a cork

Anyone catching them the past couple of weeks? Headed up on Thursday for a weekend

I fished Toledo Thurs and Friday last week. Spent about 1/3rd of my time fishing for white perch. Not much on the white perch bite. Bass are shallow aggressive though.
