Anyone heard about tacks being placed under car/truck & trailer tires in Serigne’ s parking lot on Friday? Apparently a dispute with commercial fishermen.

Never heard about this one but I had all of my tires slashed in the late 90's at End of the World. There are some frickers out there.

Damn. I drove through there Thursday AM to see if they had shrimp. I wonder if it is a dispute with serignes or sport fisherman.

Not the first
Time I’ve heard of this tactic being used by commercial fishermen. By and large they’re a loathsome group.

Used to fish Happy Jack/Port Sulphur with my Dad a lot in the early 90s. He'd always tell stories about roofing nails getting tossed when the natives got mad

Here in Texas guides send message to fellow guides in disagreement by filling their truck bed full of filleted fish carcasses.

Wouldn't surprise me, 99% of the people from Delacroix are good people, but man that one percent is WICKED.

I caught roofing nails once from a disgruntled employee, destroyed my tire. Best part was I parked right under the camera and they caught charges and had to pay restitution.

Just found one in one of my trailer tires. It had been leaking slow and I thought it was the valve stem.

Did you fish Delacroix and park in Serigne's or Sweetwater's lot?

That's a hell of a lot more civil than nails in tires. I've tied a dead skunk under someone's truck and let him drag it back to his house before. I've also tossed a live armadillo in an open hotel room door. Threw a rat snake in a boat full of assholes one time in the basin. Put a dead cat on someone's roof one time. And there was that one time when a boat full of buffalo killed bowfishing were deposited on a porch so when the door opened they fell into the foyer. But I'd never put nails in a parking lot. That's something an a-hole would do.

Are you the one who put a dead rattler in my driver side floorboard?

Went in both parking lots the day before this was posted. Was checking both places for shrimp. Neither had any so I went to Campos and launched.

Put an open can of sardines under the truck seat and shove a couple down the air vents. That’s always a fun one especially in July.

I don’t recall catching simplex nails but I pulled up to the launch after a long day fishing at Stephensville and my trailer was gone from my truck. That cost a few bucks to replace.

We had a disgruntled employee put a lb of hamburger meat way up under the seat of a work truck, up in the springs.

It took weeks for us to figure out what the F was going on, we would ride with both windows down and our heads out. And when we would leave that truck parked all weekend locked up in the heat sooooon

Stunk like sheet - sorry sucker was from NY and brought his bad ways to Louisiana

No, but I'm not against it.
