I have in the past a bit. Not the best but decent. I mostly killed wood ducks and green wing teal but my buddy killed a nice mallard there last year.

Go to Spring Bayou WMA for better action in the lake.

It is a very hard place to hunt. The locals will hunt "their" holes with you if even if you are there first. Not enough ducks out there to make it worth the harassing that comes with it. In the past there have been shoot outs and vehicle vandalism over duck hunting spots in there. At times they will even block the launches. Dewey Wills, Spring Bayou, and Indian Bayou are more pleasant and been better to us over the years. R.K.Y. has the more trash hunting it than any other piece of public land in Louisiana.

The only time I will ever go back to Spring Bayou during duck season is to sell plate lunches. That place is a clusterfrick during the season.

There are no ducks in Louisiana. Move up north for any action.

Tires are cheaper than leasing a blind.

That's no lie, when you get down where the camps are it's like going into a 3rd world country slum that married Bawcomville.
