The last two years out hunting out west I would buy a garmin inreach, use it on the trip, then sell for 50-60$ loss. It was worth it especially last year in Colorado as we had no signal at camp. My wife was able to tel me my dog was dying. This year I just want to “rent” one from someone for the week. Anyone willing to do that that has one? We can work out a deal off of here

I do not want to get in trouble on here. I am not looking to buy or sell.

So your $100 in after 2 years. Why not just keep the Inreach? Sounds like u need one.

Might not go every year. I’ve been lucky to go the past 3. And probably won’t need one in mt as I hadn’t in the past. But In Colorado we had no signal as we went up the mountain.

I have one, I carry it everytime I go to the woods (riverbottom lease with poor cell signal) or out in boat, the cell signal out at jetties is spotty, so I just started carrying mine anytime bunting or fishing. $12 month is cheap price to pay if u get stranded.

Looks like Verizon rents them. Starts at $84 a week. Just from a quick google search, but I have never used them.
