I’d like to know too. I had something similar happen to me. Was an offshore guide out of Venice that cancelled on me 2 days before coming down. Said he got some bad gas and his boat was down. I later found out there was a big tournament that weekend and the guide participated.

The guy apologized and tried to make it right, and he refunded me half the money (which is all I asked for), so I asked admins to remove the thread. For the record, he didn’t outright cancel but substituted his buddy (who arrived an hour late) while I was on the way to the dock. The trip was crap. The thread did go a tad further than I anticipated. The OB came through big time on that one.
I think he learned from the experience. No need to bring his name up again. ETA: At least he won the tournament. So at least I picked a good guide. Sort of.

You also forgot to mention that the same charter captain sucker punched a homeless Florida man in the the back of the head and knocked him out cold, simply for trying to break up a fight. What a stupid fricking thread.
