I've been wanting to get into reloading for a while but have not yet. Even read up a lot on the process. If you're interested it's probably better learned as a hobby and interest rather than a money thing.

I agree with this 100%.
People ask if I save money, and my response is pretty much that I just end up shooting more.
But I do save money per round and I love being able to control all the factors of the rounds I shoot.
Just do it already!

Are you offering to give an OB class on reloading at the next gettogether?

Bapple,
need you to go ahead and get those videos done so I can get started. wife surprised me with a reloading kit. yes, she's awesome (no pics, never happen, don't ask), but my only friend that reloads is in Jackson, MS, and doesn't have a ton of time to walk me through the process. the videos would be gold for the uneducated masses like myself.

Alright bro. I've been putting them off anyway. I'll add the extra steps for basic rifle prep (.223 mostly) and put that shite on the interwebz. I'll also add it to my thread linked in the FAQ.
I should be able to get on it tonight. I'll try my best.

wasn't trying to rush you, seeing as how I'm still a newbie around here...hoping to get started next month. February birthday always bring gun related presents (crosses fingers and prays for the pistol he wants)
anyway, I eagerly await your videos.

Getting into reloading is easy and there are always someone on the internet to ask questions. I had a buddy and my cousin to get pointers from.
I've been working on loads the past couple days.
If you think you want to and can afford then by all means do it. You never know when the prices will go up. Hell it's already cheaper to reload hunting ammo than to buy.
I would hate to know I had to reload .223 on a single stage press. I have a Lyman progressive and it's still time consuming.

I'm gonna try and have a couple 100 each caliber reloaded by the end of the summer. I was slacking last year and almost ran out. Mybe after I get a stock pile I'll start on some .223s and .45s.

Just about all common dies will fit any press.

check handloadersbench.com and the high road.org
lots of good info there, I would not borrow or give load data however

That's the stage I'm at, pun intended.
So anyway, for all of you anxious gun nuts out there, I'm currently updating my reloading tutorial right now. I'll bump it to the top of the page, but if you can't find it just go to the FAQ sticky.
