My stainless tumbler is awesome, thanks for recommending it.

On an unrelated question, what do y'all do with 45 ACP that as the small pistol primers? I've been sifting through and it reloading it but it's kind of a pain in the arse to find it when it's mixed with other 45.

Put them in a separate bin. Over time wait until you have a round number, like 100, 200, 300, etc. and then go buy some small pistol primers. They will ignite and fire the same way as the large ones.

Good call. I've got a bunch of small pistol primers for 9mm and 380ACP

OP do what I said and go buy a Lee universal de-capper and if you have the money buy a small single stage press too, do all of the primer removal there and not on the Dillon.

Luckily I don't have any of these (yet). All of the .45 brass I've scrounged is large pistol brass.

Guess it's just another thing to have to watch out for.

The most common will be Federal red box and Blazer brass. Both are small-pistol-primed.

When I shoot factory ammo, (which isn't very often) I usually shoot the Federal Classic stuff in the blue/gray box.

I'm sure glad I have managed to scrounge a lot of .45 brass.

Quite possibly the best $10 I ever spent on handloading tools!

I deprime my brass after running it through the tumbler, otherwise the tumbling media has a tendency to get stuck in most of the primer pockets. When I want to clean the primer pocket, I chuck my primer pocket uniformer tool in an electric drill.

I actually love my de-capper haha
and I just leave the de-cap pin in the size die, so after I tumble clean the brass and I size it the de-capper knocks out any media that may be in the flash hole.
