Red Wasp Trap

Can anyone recommend one that works? I’ve never tried using one, but I just got stung for the third time in as many weeks. I use Bengal spray on the nests when I find them. I’m obviously missing some of them though. It would be great to put out a trap so the little red assholes can murder themselves on their own time.

Yes, I knock them down when I can get to them. I think there’s a nest in part of my roof line that I can’t get to that well.

Spray fiprionil (Taurus sc) on all your eves etc and you won’t have a wasp for over a year

I will die remembering every sting I’ve taken from those little ______. Borrowed a trailer for storm cleanup and found them on the underside of the hitch. I’ll always check under every garden hose hanger for the rest of my life before unwinding a hose.

Wasp / hornet trap
We use these and they work pretty well. They will catch wasps, hornets, moths, lizards, small frogs, horse flies, spiders, etc but I’m ok with that. The outer guard prevents smaller birds from getting stuck. The older version of these didn’t have the guard part and we actually had a hummingbird get caught and die.
