Anyone have any dealings with these? Considering getting one for my 3 year old. I just don’t want to regret it in the end. They have no governor. Thanks

Are they not recommended for an age higher than 3? Is your child more mature than most 3 year olds?

Every Razor product I have bought has been top notch with exemplary small assembly times.

They have a little get up to them for sure. Have seen one flip more than once.

Get him a 12v powerwheel for a year or so first.

ETA: Quality wise, they are well made and the kids love them. No complaints on that end.

one is 8 and up and the other is 14 and up. So probably about realistically 5 & up / 9 & up

I have a buddy who uses one of these to get to his deer stand. We also used to open up the front and back doors of his college apartment and ride laps through it and around the complex lol. They're pretty solid.

My son got one for Christmas two years ago. It was awesome and hauled arse. It barely made it past a year. I bought new batteries for it twice. There is a low gear and high gear. He only rolled it on its side twice.

Bought one 3 years ago this Xmas. My son was 4. He went out right away and took off on it and turned too fast and flipped it. He was fine. He was scared of it for the next 6 months. Since then, he rides it every day. I plan to change the batteries this year only Bc they’re lasting 20 mins tops now.

I dont know about Razor, but my kid got one of these for his birthday and its pretty cool. Has 2 speeds, he loves it. Just turned 4. Its 24V so its alot faster than a 12V powerwheel.

My 3 yr old could ride a bike with no training wheels...get a 12” Haro and let them pedal.

You can find the bike cheaper. Down the path bike store bikes...not down the path of battery powered transportation. Just a thought.

Bought my 3 yr old grand baby the John Deere Gator that is 12 volt battery powered. Wal mart had it for 50% off last month. Battery lasts a long time. Wheels are big enough to go on dry, smooth trails. She loves it and we feel like it is safe given her age. Couldn’t be happier with that purchase.

We had the little blue dirt bike and it would haul arse, my son rode the tires off of that thing.

I'd assume the 4 wheelers have the same motor

Son got the razor dirt bike at 4/5 yo. It’s been a good little bike. Replaced batteries last year (after 2 years?). Still good

These are the threads you find the real coonasses/ rednecks.

No idea on razors. My wife never had a powerwheels and so we got one for our daughter at 3. Frozen Jeep. Still on the first battery 2 years later, it has forward/fast/reverse.

If just my 3 year old drives it it’s fast enough I don’t want her going faster. I’m gonna upgrade to a 18v battery and add some old bike tires screwed to the wheels at some point.

You will have to adjust the speed. It might be a little too powerful for a 3 year old. I had to put a screw on the nadle throttle to slow it down. It will topple over easily on a hill.

Bought one of the 2 wheel Razor dirtbikes for my son’s baby momma’s other kid last Christmas. As someone who raced dirtbikes for years, I was impressed with the quality for under $400. It would do around 15 mph even with my arse on it. It cost around the same as one of the Power Wheels products, and was much higher quality, sooooo much faster, and had very functional suspension. Easy assembly as well. I rode the crap out of that thing in my house for a week until Christmas morning arrived.

ETA: My kid had Powerwheels growing up before he started racing dirtbikes too - the Razors are such an upgrade from Power Wheels.
