quality come-a-long?

Does anyone currently make a come-a-long that isn't a total piece of shite? I've seen some old ones that look pretty good but does any company currently produce good ones? It would be great if I had one that doesn't bind and warp under heavy loads. TIA

Sure they do. We use them every day in plant construction. Get ready to fork out some change but I can show you a 3 ton come along that will last forever if taken care of

As mentioned, Harrington and JET are good along with ingersoll rand. I'd opt for a made in the USA come along for lifetime use though. Nothing from Asia.

Harrington is the best hands down...... even better than Jet. Worked 12 years with them.

If there was a high enough demand for these I might would start a black market on come alongs.
