Put a hurtin on the fish today!

Brought little country on her first long (6 hours) fishing trip in bayou black. Put 39 chinquapin, a couple sac a lait and a couple bass in the livewell. This was her first actual boat trip when she was able to fish on her own, and I’ll admit, I only caught 4 fish. Watching her pull em in was a blast, my best fishing trip to date! She got mad when we started packing rods up as the sun was going down. Great day to be alive!

Fine by me. Got em on ice, I’ll get to em in the AM. Apparently she’s outgrown her little rod n reel, gotta find an upgrade that ain’t no little chinchy setup but ain’t as heavy as my zebco delta. It started wearing her out toward the end.

That’s my powpow, but yes. We did half the fishing she did. Enjoyed the hell out of it.

Yup. 1992 ranger 361v, all original except for the front seat and the floor, put some aquatrac a couple months ago. 2 years younger than and runs like the day he got it.

Same. After her little rod n reel started giving her problems, I gave her mine and sat back.
