They are all over the woods here in Pointe Coupee. They are awesome to see in the wild. Glad they are making a comeback

Not true at all. I certainly am happy even though I deer hunt a lot. A balanced ecosystem is important.

Bears do NOT balance LA's ecosystem. If no bears existed in Louisiana, nothing would go wrong

I had two Cubs come up to my ground blind this morning. Had to yell at them to stop. After the hunt I waked off 7 yards from me. I'll try to upload a video tonight.

When u start replacing the stuff they tear up and realize that deer dont like hanging out with them you may change your perspective.

We have had a couple at our place in Grosse Tate. They tear up feeders but they are still neat to see.

Damn there's some disdain for bears here. Carry a pistol if you're worried about em. Alot easier to draw in self defense, it would also be easier to explain. If you got bears you'll need to change how you feed. No more feeders. We've tried hanging feeders from trees, and they figured that out... Hand spreading is the only sure way to stop them from tearing stuff up.

To those saying the deer don't like bears... They may not want to eat from the same feed pile, but they aren't messing up the deer population. You're hunt just may be ruined when one plops down and starts scooping up handfuls of your corn. Just enjoy the moment and chill the frick out.
