Let's preface this with I've always wanted a badass stereo. Whether it be in my car, boat I didn't care. Now I know this setup won't be ultimate badass but I think I could work towards something that's pretty impressive.

I'm looking at getting four jl mx770 coaxial speakers. 70watt rms, 90.5db sensitivity, 45-25000hz.

I've got an jbl 60wattx4 channel amp on hand and while I know it's not nearly what should be running the speakers I don't think it will be a slouch. I figure I'll give it a year or two a buy a nice 100watt per channel amp and have my ultimate setup.

Any thought??

The jl 7.7s are good. Wetsounds are slightly better imo.

They are both top in coax. It's really a 1a and 1b, the wet sounds cans/pods are the best though.

I have 4 7.7 jls on a 400 watt 4 way amp and it's loud and clear even at 50mph.

Do you know the rms per channel? Is it 100 watt rms per? I'm a little worried I'll be kinda bummed with only 60 watt rms
