Predator Habit Question

Something buried a dead Possum in my Garden......a HUGE one. I noticed what looked like an Armadillo had did some rooting in the Garden a few days ago, but yesterday we noticed flies and stench and when I started digging to see 
I don't think Domestic Dogs will bury their kills, because my yard Dog kill shite all the time and either eats of leaves in the yard.
What could have done this? I am adjacent to woods, have seen dead on road locally: Bobcats, Coyotes, Foxes.........
FYI, I have been guilty of "Squatch Hollering" and fear I may have attracted a Bigfoot.....
What say ye OB??

my brown dogs.. would bury stuff they killed... or even food they didn't finish..

I have a Boxer/Lab mix (Boxador..
) that lives to kill critters that come out of the woods. I have never noticed him do this before. I just found it strange to find a huge arse dead Possum buried in my garden......

My GSPs do it. Whenever I throw them trimmings from cleaning deer they immediately take it off and bury it.
My parents heeler buries everything. He has buried shoes, animal parts, and he even buried a whole loaf of bread still in the package.
