Fuarrkkk. I lived on 308 by near lafourche crossing until I was 12 or so. I remember my dad driving the boat in to flocks in early am and them thumping under it and then we would turn around and see if any were floating. Old baw my dad hunted with netted a couple once.

I heard no, water came up and a big floaton popped loose and moved all around the lake taking out grass and duck blinds and stuff. My wifes cousin told me he had a blind with 6-4x4x12s driven into the mud and theres no signs of it left.

I'm going try for some catfish for a Christmas eve fish fry this AM and maybe try to get in a Sac Aux Lait bite, decided to leave the trout alone..... maybe tmrw.

Did you end up picking up crips? After a pass through the lake at 4:30 Friday before nightfall, I counted 6 ducks and less than 30 poule d'eau. Said frick it, drank until 3am and didn't even set an alarm. Pretty bad when you dont hear the first shots until legal shooting hours and hear periods of no one shooting before 10am.

Most I heard killed was 15...with 6 people in a blind.

Damn Baw, did you sleep in the blind? We didn't even go to the camp since there weren't any birds. There are a few pouledeau in my old man's pond. We letting them get fat fat before we shoot em though.
