They're inside a Cannon safe that is bolted to a 6x8 concrete slab (4.5 yrd pour) inside a 12"-thick concrete and steel reinforced vault with triple-locked steel door. Well, the Red Ryder is in the garage for stray dogs, and one or two pistols are either in the bedroom, the truck, or on my person.

I wish. Wife would probably shite if I bought that. Got the vault and safe and all last year. That wasn't cheap, so it's slowed down considerably as of late.

I have a Ruger .270 with a laminated stock, and my Tikka is a .270 WSM. Then I had a Savage .270 before the Ruger. A lot of people shite on that caliber, but I've taken down quite a few with it. If you can shoot, you can do whatever you want with it in the South.

Ha, yeah. Funny part is that by their definition, all those muskets are assault rifles, too. And the sad irony is that the most dangerous guns in that photo are the shotguns, and that thought has never crossed their minds.
That Tech 10 is fun to shoot. Without a shoulder sling, though, you can't really hit shite (but you can spray some lead - 30rd magazine). Every time I've shot it, someone ended up calling the cops to come investigate, hahaha.
My wishlist - WWII manufacture k98 Mauser; Gov Model 1911 (the original, not the A1); M14; one of those new XDs, and a S&W airweight for the wife.
