Took a buddy's PA10 to the range to sight it in for him and was disappointed to see it outshoot my Aero Precision 308 . Not a great day for my rifle but this thing was very impressive and my friend only has about $1000 in it (Leupold VX1 on a Burris PEPR mount). It still desperately needs a trigger upgrade but I convinced him to get the Larue MBT. For under $100 it's extremely hard to beat.

Overall I would highly recommend this upper or complete rifle. Link is below.

It feels about the same weight as my Aero Precision M5 but the handguard is a bit slimmer. Then again, the Aero's handguard is made to fit a suppressor so it's a bit larger on purpose.

And Mark Larue is giving away 5.56 Uppers every week in a drawing for those that buy these triggers.

Put a different brake and added a trigger to this setup for a friend and it is funny how accurate it is for the cost

I’m fine with the stock I chose. I don’t want a fixed stock because then it’ll be 5 feet long and won’t fit in any gun case I buy. I like that I can collapse the stock now and fit it in a smaller case.

My Aero has had some good days - likely just needs a little bore cleaning. Yesterday just wasn’t its day .

I been eyeing up the PA10. I’ll likely grab one and a 6.5c upper. They are also working on a 12” upper. So don’t buy the complete rifle. It’s cheeper to buy the upper and lower and then when the 12” comes out put on a SBA3 stock then pop on the 12” upper.

Was kinda waiting for the nitride to come back in stock. Has anyone one heard of any accuracy difference between the nitride and SS version?

I have a PSA 6.5 grendel. It shoots like your buddies 308.
The problem I had was the ar trigger. I swapped the stock trigger for a cmc 2.5 lb single stage and it's much easier to shoot. I run night vision on the grendel and I have a 223 upper I swap to for daytime varmit hunting..

Also have a pa10. Added a large mbt, m4-72 brake, Luth rifle length fixed stock, and a slr adjustable gas block. Gun is a beast. They come very over gassed. Highly recommend an agb.

Those are nice groups. Why keep them off center? Admittedly I’m AR dumb so pardon me if this is a dumb question.

He aimed center. Gun is not sighted to the specific ammo. When you check for groups with different ammo, it most likely wont group center of paper even though that is where you aim. Basically he is using different types of ammo and he won't hit center unless he picks a load and sights in with that specific load.

^^^^ He pretty much nailed it. Every bullet/load combination will have a different point of impact. So once you find the ammo or load your rifle likes best, you sight in with that ammo.

That being said, having tight groups like this shows barrel quality and consistency. So even if the group isn’t centered, it the holes are stacked tight like that things are very good.
