Im done messing with you and all but what does a day consist of? 1000 rounds? or 10,000 rounds? I read one of the links that you posted but I didnt catch how many rounds they run through.

Probably 500-1000
My point though was that I am not saying the guns are junk. I am saying that one well-respected trainer said what he said. He wouldn't have made that sort of thing up, and if he was way off-base, I haven't seen any other person of note call him out on it. I've also never seen (on YouTube, natch) anyone like that running a very small 1911. Again not saying they are junk.

Just saw this thread.
I'd stay away from Kimber's 3" 1911. I like Kimber's a lot but for some reason their 3" models don't have enough poundage on their recoil spring and they like to lock up. If you want to change that spring it's an easy fix
