If you pull this around behind you, it might be tough to paddle into the wind

now looks like rain moving in friday night/saturday morning, with a 15 mph south wind.
Gonna screw up the topwater bite.

Over/under on flounders caught in the rain with that wind? I'll go 4.

Way over that. Flounder fishing has been getting better and better over the years at this tourney.

We only had 2 slams last year, and 6 total flounder weighed in. I'll buy you a beer if you're right on the over.

In. I don't think more than 4 will be caught. Most of the places will be two fish stringers.

We went with a charter down there a couple weeks ago and I was quite impressed with just how much they can screw up a pond quickly A buddy of mine stuck one that looked like a 26" football and was probably close to 9lb. I couldn't help but think someone would have loved that fish this weekend.

Most guys have their redfish spots locked down. I caught 16.5 lbs last week. Have left them alone

Was very hard to get a flounder last year. I heard most were caught on the island.

2 slams caught last year in eerily similar weather conditions. (S high wind with a chance of rain)

My son and I will be down there; leaving early tomorrow morning. Hopefully tomorrow we can cross out a couple of our options for Saturday. If not, the food is always good!

Me and my buddies have done this tourney every year since 2014. Moving the date up fricked us this year so we won't be attending. We actually caught 2 of the flounder weighed in last year...plus 4 others we did not weigh in...we found a spot that no body would have thought to fish..that spot will stay a secret.
