Optics planet changing delivery date

Ordered some .270 a few weeks ago and the expected delivery date was listed as 4/23. I logged in tonight and its moved to 5/3. Will they keep moving it out or do they get close to the estimated delivery date?

They did the same to me - they are selling ammo that they don't have. After they pushed the delivery back numerous times, I asked for a refund.

I ordered a threaded barrel from them for delivery in June of 2020 and they push it back monthly. Customer service is inaccessible if it even exists

I bought some nosler partitions from them about 2 weeks ago. They were delivered last Friday. Maybe I got lucky.

I helped a lady at work order a night vision scope for her husband a few years ago. I think it was like $2k. They sent two of them.

Placed an order several years ago for a “in stock” scope, they contacted me a few days later saying it wasn’t in stock and didn’t know when or if it would be. They gave me a few options of similar scopes “in stock” to choose from. I picked one and a few days later the exact same thing happened. I requested a refund and haven’t dealt with them since

Whenever I've ordered from Optics Planet there has always been and issue. It is weird because they also own DVOR and I've never had an issue with orders from them.

FYI Federal had 3 different type of 270 available yesterday morning online. It shows up twice a week and usually hangs around for a half hour to an hour. Just gotta be awake and looking.

Might as well cancel your order. They are notorious for showing items in stock, delaying delivery dates and eventually cancelling your order.

Look at their reviews on ammoseek.

Had a buddy order some ammo last year from them that showed as “in stock” made it through checkout and they took his money. Got a update saying expected delivery was 6weeks, he was WTF.
I would never order from them based on that even though he did get his money back.

Good to see all this after I spent $160 a few weeks ago. My expected ship dates are may and June depending on the ammo. I’m just gonna roll with it, really don’t need anything till hunting season
