If you had one last hunt you could make, where would you go and what would you be going after?
What says you OB?

Sitting in a rag spread, during the first week of the 2nd split of duck/goose season, shooting duck, specks, and snows......If the conditions were right, I'd pick a rice field just south of Welsh, LA near a little town known as Thornwell.

Shooting doves in Argentina with my dad and brothers. My dad always said he wanted to go there.

Turkey hunting with my dad and grandad on our land in Greene County, AL. Even if I couldn't bring them back, that would still be my hunt if I knew it was going to be my last

Bow hunt for moose. It'd be my last hunt because a grizz got me while I was cleaning the moose.
But they find me next to that big bastard of a bear because i sliced his arse up

There's a box stand in Sabine Parish that you can see Toledo Bend from. That's where my grandfather took me on my first hunt and where I harvest my first deer. That's where he went on his last hunt. It's where I'll take my son on his first hunt. If God allows, it'll be the last place I ever hunt.

That's an awesome tradition you've got there, and perfectly illustrates the best thing about hunting to me; spending time outdoors with family and passing it down from generation to generation. My mom and I both killed our first deer from the same stand 20 years apart

In the mountains, elk, horseback, and since my last hunt I guess end it all fighting a big brown bear with a too-short knife.

If it had to be right now? Probably trespassing on a certain plot of ag center land with my old boss (who passed on a few years back), picking off fox squirrels from a pecan tree.

The one thing that my family did always was dove hunt on opening day. I’ve never missed.
My dad passed away 5 years ago and my brother passed away in August a couple of weeks before the hunt.
I took my son and nephew by myself this year. They have been going since they were about 2. If I only had one more hunt to go on I’d probably choose to do that.

Squirrel hunting was the first thing I ever did. I wouldn’t be upset if it was my last.

There’s something about a turkey goobbling on a cool crisp spring morning that gets the hair standing up on my neck. Then after the kill going to pull slabs out with some minners and a ol cain pole in my favorite fishing hole.
