Is there anything on the market these days similar to buckshots of maxxis mudders? I have an old school Z71 I want to put some 285's on but can't find a comparable.

thanks. Someone had told me Maxxis quit making them. Guess it's just no place local carries them.

You can get the Buckshot Mudders or the Old school Super Swamper TSL which is a similar grip.

My school must be older than yours because our 4x4s didn't have stickers on the sides. You just looked at the front hubs.

I sure don't miss the days of having to jump out and lock the hubs when we'd get in the thick shite. I was always riding shotgun with my uncle or stepdad, so guess who always had to get out?

It took me a couple times(I was a slow learner)to figure out that its best to lock them as soon as you leave pavement.

When I was young my dad had a 1978 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 long wheelbase truck with Buckshot mudders with about 1/2 lb of lead per wheel to half arse balance them. That thing would sing a highway song that could be heard from 3/4 mile away. Good times.
