Old lurker who finally signed on.

I'll keep it short and sweet here.
I'm a college football fan who did the military thing then I took in an associate degree from ITT (defunct) for my tech job and really don't have a vaunted pedigree degree from somewhere like LSU, as I imagine most around these parts hold.
I do love to hunt and fish and generally be in the outdoors.
I love to read a lot (mainly western and trapping books) and like this site a good bit. I'm getting a few years behind me,but I learn something new in here all the time.
I've done a lot of things wrong hunting and fishing some even idiotic and maybe that's where my o2c might contribute at times.
Other than that, Helo the camp!

Welcome aboard. This is a good varied board with lots of helpful fellas. Don't be put off by the few down voter any saying children ya need thick skin and feel free to ask or say anything outdoorsy

UGA question:
I didn't graduate from there. I never attended that institute.
Yes,
I have family who are faculty, former-faculty, and some of whom graduated from UGA and other institutes of higher learning as you know.
I am not one of those.
I am only me.
I removed my UGA avatar because I hold a political position that is not in favor with the University at large during the present time.
I'm not even sure if I even care about college athletics anymore as it was always an out or a release from reality.
The UGA board is political now and I need to move on.
Hope this helps you figure things out.

That's all OK. If you've been lurking all this time, you know this is a board that gives out a lot of practical info. Had hunted, and owned guns since I was 12 years old, but never owned a pistol until I was in my 50's.
There are lots of new posters due to so many people buying weapons. I hope the board stays as civil, and as informative, as it's been since I started regularly posting here nearly 10 years ago.

Welcome! I was a lurker w/o an account for years until a certain non-pigmented poster came up with a great idea to keep perishable food items from perishing and 12oz cans at proper drinking temperature.
