Old Glock

Anybody know a good place to look for an old Glock pistol. I had to travel for business yesterday and today and stopped at every pawnshop on my 400 mile trip,not one to be found. I dont care what it is or what kind of shape it's in. I have always liked working on guns and I want an old glock to tinker with so I havent lost anything if I ruin it. I would be happy with a gen 1 or anything beat up.

You can find police trade in glocks fairly often. I would use reddit and go to r/gundeals as there are often police trade in glocks listed.

Police trade ins have had the holy hell beat out of them. They stevedore out by the time they trade them in. They will have at a minimum 10,000 rounds fired through them.

I was over at meplat group the other day filling out some paperwork and noticed he had three or four old glocks up in the wall. Don't know the details about them but I know they are there.

That's not true, most Police trade ins have few rounds shot thru them. They qualify with them and holster and re holster. The Majority of police officers aren't even shooters.

There are few cops in the country who will shoot 10,000 rounds in their entire lifetime. The ones I know who do, shoot competitively and they just trade their old guns back to Glock for brand new ones after like 20k rounds

Gen 1 Glock can sometimes be expensive as some collectors like them. You can find Gen2 and 3 Glock 22 police trade ins for good prices often. The 17 and 19's are a little harder to come by at really good prices.

I bought an LSP engraved Glock from Barney's. Luckily I bought an unissued one in the box. 100% condition. Runs like a dream.
