You will probably be crucified for not putting this in the AR thread, so it was nice knowing you. But yeah you will need new everything. The tube is longer with a fixed stock and thus has different spring/buffer. They make kits that will have everything you need, castlenut, endplate, etc.

while im here.. any suggestions on a scope in the $150 range? any opinions on the nc star mark III or the bushnell tactical elite. while im figure the bushnell is a good scope it is only a 1x32 and the ncstar is a 3x9... i like the ability to zoom in. i know neither is an eotech will it do the job?

I have a Redfield Revolution on mine and I really like it. The optics aren't amazing but they're still quite good since the scope is made by Leupold.

But the thing holds a great zero and I can shoot 1/2" groups all day long with my rifle.

To order a new buffer tube you will need to find out if the Sig uses mil. spec or commercial spec tube size. The mil. spec is slightly larger.

There is only one spec for lower receivers, for the most part. Just make sure your buffer tube and stock are the same spec (mil-spec or commercial).
